Innocean is a full-service advertising agency in sunny Huntington Beach, CA and we are looking for a Social Media Community Manager to join our growing General Accounts Team!

The Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and stewardship of their clients’ social channels and helping to achieve the KPIs established through the brand strategy. The role’s primary clients will be in the luxury appliance category and QSR.


Duties & Responibilities

  • Responsible for all community management efforts including response management and social publishing on client social channels.
  • Develop social copy and serve as the voice of the brand in social.
  • Monitor comments and respond in a timely manner, including direct messages.
  • Remove inappropriate remarks or content that violates community guidelines.
  • Create monthly social publishing calendars and establish cadence recommendations.
  • Build relationships with audiences, potential influencers and industry professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail with grammar and spelling mistakes.
  • Collaborate with internal agency teams and external partners to support campaigns, launch efforts, and all other social content requests.
  • Responsible for creating and coordinating social SEO copy deck
  • Conduct social listening to monitor conversations, emerging trends and identify opportunities for the brand.
  • Contribute to social production shoots with onsite content creation and publishing.
  • Monitor various client activations and influencer events, participating in real-time conversations to drive interest further.
  • Understand and apply the ongoing changes on major social platforms (e.g., new features, posting specs, ad units, best practices).
  • Identifies real-time trending opportunities within social for clients.
  • Demonstrates personal motivation to learn and master all things related to social media, influencers and real-time content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies and/or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working directly with client(s) on social media management.
  • Expertise on all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Snapchat.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills. Comfortable presenting to clients and speaking to social media platform changes.
  • Capable of creating social-first content including photos, videos and stories.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide channel recommendations.
