Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial business development person with a strong strategic planning background.

The ideal candidate will have excellent strategic planning skills and be adept at quickly generating a good level of expertise across a variety of industries. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be a good networker with a solid base of business connections.


Duties & Responibilities

Business Development (General)

  • Develop annual departmental business plan based on set goals.
  • Develop Biannual situation analysis report for the executives and HQ.
  • Support developing business plans for new agency initiatives.
  • Support Business Development Director including the development pitch decks.
  • Develop new case studies, capabilities, general credentials that will help to promote the agency.
  • Run presentation to executive leadership / C-suite of clients by clearly communicating arguments, insights, and recommendations.
  • Support agency marketing and PR activities.
  • Perform research and analytics using various tools as needed.
  • Attend industry networking events and conferences to represent INNOCEAN.

Business Development (Prospecting/RFP Process Management)

  • Develop and nurture new business prospect list with Business Development Director.
  • Plan and oversee new business initiatives, including the development of quotes and proposals for prospects.
  • Organize structural responses to RFP’s.
  • Identify and secure resources and deliverables needed to complete the RFP submission.
  • Develop scope of services and contracts to ensure the top quality of services can be performed.
  • Develop a strategic initiative brief to make sure all pitch team members are informed with prospects business situation and opportunities.

Strategic Planning

  • Support the development of strategic and tactical solutions for General Accounts
  • Work with Account Management and GA Creatives for more significant strategic projects (not day-to-day planning needs)
  • Support Managing Director or Planning Directors (from HMA) on research and planning initiatives for General Accounts
  • Provide consumer insights to support account management and creative directors in developing briefs, defining target audiences and other strategic documents
  • Provide strategic and consumer intelligence to support social media teams as needed

Requirements

  • Advanced PowerPoint/Keynote design capabilities
  • Custom research: Quantitative/Qualitative research experience
  • Desktop research: Ability to search and synthesize information from internet or subscription services
